Observations
PI's of approved projects will get an email from the User
Program asking to send Session Definition Files (SDFs) for
their observations. Once the SDFs are received, they will be
validated and then placed into the observing queue, and data
will be taken as soon as possible.
To schedule your observations, the following pages will be useful to read:
- Currently known constraints and issues with LWA1
- LWA1 Observational Status - technical information and capabilities
- How to prepare your Session Definition files
- Submit your Session Definition files here
- Check the Submission/Validator queue here
- Watch your observations take place on the LWA1 operations screen
- More hints and LWA1 information (VTech site)
- Current notes to LWA1 Operators
- The LWA Low Frequency Data Reduction Tutorial
- The LWA Single Baseline Observing Tutorial
